On the special evening of May 23, the traditional Chinese arts show was held by the School of Physical Science at the grand auditorium of USTC. The show presented a cultural feast of Chinese culture and art with Anhui characteristics to the audiences including about a hundred physicists from all over the world participating the international conference on Flavor Physics & CP Violation (FPCP2012) held at USTC. The students and teachers interested in this show were all invited to watch and enjoy it.

Annex:

Flavor Physics and CP Violation is one of the top level conferences in particle and nuclear physics. USTC successfully won the change to host this world renowned conference, showing the competitive edge of USTC in both theoretical and experimental particle and nuclear physics. It is also part of the efforts to extend the internationalization of USTC in physics. On the other hand, this conference involves more than one hundred particle/nuclear physicists from all over the world, so it provides a good opportunity to propagate Chinese culture and art with local flavor. It is the motivation for the local organizing committee to arrange this Chinese Art Show.
