Cao Gang

Cao Gang is a special professor and doctoral supervisor at the CAS Key Laboratory of Quantum Information, who has been engaged in research on semiconductor quantum computing and quantum devices. Currently, he focuses on microwave cavity-semiconductor qubit hybrid cavity QED systems and the use of microwave cavities to couple and extend semiconductor qubits. He has published over 90 SCI papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, Physical Review Letters, and Science Bulletin. He has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Excellent Young Scholars, major research projects (cultivation projects), general and youth funds, among other projects. He is the leader for the Innovation 2030 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Anhui Provincial Quantum Communication and Quantum Computer Pilot Project. His related achievements have won the First Prize in Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Award (ranked 2/5).

His research group welcomes outstanding undergraduates with backgrounds in physics, condensed matter, and microelectronics. It also offers competitive salaries for positions such as engineers, postdoctoral researchers, and special (associate) researchers.
