Professor Wang Liang graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and obtained a PhD from Purdue University. Subsequently, he co-founded a molecular membrane company in the US and held a significant research and development position. In 2011, he moved to Silicon Valley to join the leading international semiconductor equipment company, Lam Research, as a Principal Engineer. In 2013, he was selected into the National Innovative Talents Program and returned to China to become a professor and doctoral supervisor at USTC. In recent years, Professor Wang has published over 50 academic papers in international journals, applied for and obtained over 20 international and domestic patents, and co-authored a monograph in the field of nanotechnology. He has been invited to serve as a guest reviewer for several prestigious international journals. He has received supports as the principal investigator for key research projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Anhui Province, and enterprise collaborations.
