Education and Research Experience:Zhang Yang is a researcher at the Hefei National Research Center for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), a joint professor at the School of Physical Sciences, and a doctoral supervisor. He graduated from the Department of Physics at USTC in 2004 with a bachelor's degree and received his Ph.D. from the Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale at USTC in 2010. From 2010 to 2013, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Molecular Sciences of Orsay of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). In August 2013, he began his research at the Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale at USTC. In 2016, he received funding from the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In the same year, he received the Outstanding Researcher President Award of USTC.

In recent years, he has been dedicated to developing scanning probe techniques combined with optical detection to characterize the optoelectronic properties of single molecules and other nanostructures with ultra-high spatial resolution. His research focuses on developing optical characterization methods with ultra-high spatial resolution for key scientific issues in the study of single-molecule optoelectronics. Using these new methods and equipment, he has gained new insights into molecular optoelectronic behaviors and interactions, thus advancing the understanding of scientific problems. He has published over 30 papers in international journals such as Nature, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, and Physical Review Letters.

3. Investigation of the interaction between molecules and plasmonic structures, mechanisms of energy and electron transfer between molecules, and their applications (such as optoelectronic integration and photosynthesis)
