Xi Zheng, a Specially Appointed Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), was selected for the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project (Overseas) in March 2022. He received his Ph.D. in Optics from USTC in 2014, and worked as a Postdoc at the Department of Applied Physics, Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, from 2015 to 2021. Since 2021, he has been working at the Department of Optics and Optical Engineering, USTC. His research primarily focuses on optical measurement, light-matter interaction, and nano-optics. He has published over 10 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Physical Review Letters, Physical Review Applied, Optics Letters, and Optics Express. He has led and participated in multiple national and EU research projects.
