Lu Yonghua is an Associate Professor/Doctoral Supervisor, Director/Vice Secretary General of Anhui Optical Society, and Deputy Director of the Optical Physics and Photochemistry Professional Committee. He mainly engages in research on micro-nano optics, micro-nano structured optical sensors, and optical fields in spatial structures. He has published over 100 academic papers in journals such as Science Advances, Phys. Rev. Lett., Nano Letters, Adv. Optical Mater., ACS Photonics, Appl. Phys. Lett., Opt. Exp., and Opt. Lett., with more than 1600 citations. He has been granted four national invention patents. As a project leader, he has undertaken four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one key R&D project from the Ministry of Science and Technology, one major provincial research project, and one provincial foundation project. As a key technical member, he has participated in the National 973 Program and the Key Program of the Natural Science Foundation of China. He has co-supervised 17 Ph.D. students and supervised nine master’s students. He teaches undergraduate courses Optics and graduate courses Quantum Electronics and has won the USTC Excellence in Teaching and Distinguished Teaching awards multiple times.
