Hou Zhibo

Hou Zhibo is a specially appointed professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Physical Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2011. He earned his Ph.D. from the Key Laboratory of Quantum Information, Chinese Academy of Sciences, USTC in 2016. Since completing his Ph.D., he has been working at USTC. His primary research focuses on quantum precision measurement, quantum information, and quantum optics, with a current emphasis on addressing the precision trade-offs in multi-parameter quantum precision measurement. He has published over 40 SCI papers, with first-author publications in journals such as Physical Review Letters, Nature Communications, and Science Advances. He has led three national projects, including the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund, and three ministerial and provincial projects, including the Anhui Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund.
