Personal Profile
Professor Zhu Hong holds a Ph.D. in Science. He graduated from the Department of Physics, Nanjing University in 1985 with a bachelor's degree. In 1987, he entered the Department of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) for graduate studies and obtained a master's degree in 1990. He has been working at USTC since then and earned his Ph.D. in 2003. He conducted visiting research at the Department of Physics, the University of Hong Kong from April to October 2003 and at the Faculty of Engineering, Mie University, Japan from November 2004 to October 2006. His main research directions are the quantum control and related phenomena of magnetic oxides and their thin films. He participated in research projects that won the first and third prizes of the China Association for Instrumental Analysis (CAIA) in 2001 and 2002, respectively. He has published more than 50 papers as the primary author in domestic and international academic journals. Currently, he leads one general project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participates in one key project of the Joint Funds of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
