
Gao Shang, originally from Suqian, Jiangsu Province, studied neutron scattering at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland from 2013 to 2017 and obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Geneva. He then conducted postdoctoral research at RIKEN in Japan (2018 - 2020) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the USA (2020 - 2022). In 2022, he joined the Department of Physics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).
