USTC_Marine Seize Gold of 37th ACM-ICPC Asia division

ACM-ICPC in Asia division ended on Oct 14th, and USTC_Marine team won the gold medal. USTC_Marine team consists of CHEN Jiyu, a sophomore from School of Computer Science and CAO Boxiao, ZHANG Ruoyu, a senior and a sophomore from School of Physics. Besides, 3 sophomores from School of Computer Science, MAO Yuting, WANG Huazheng and WANG Yuehui won the bronze medal in their debut this time.

ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (abbreviated as ACM-ICPC) is an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world. The contest has been operating under the auspices of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) since 1970 and known as the Olympic game in the field of computer software. Participants are encouraged to analyze and solve problems by compiling computer programs with innovation and team spirits.

In the recent 10 years, USTC held many preliminaries and our teams actively participated in the contest and frequently obtained outstanding results in Asia division. USTC team got access to global final games in 2006.
