State Key Laboratory of Particle Detection & Electronics, proposed by University of Science and Technology of China and Institute of High Energy Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was approved by the Ministry Science and Technology recently.
The Laboratory aims at building a top-ranking particle detection and electronics research center. It is proposed to design and build several important physics research devices based on the requirement of our country and the development of science subjects. It will also be involved in the R&D program of several important international detectors, and will play an important role in the relevant field.
